2021: Number of users exceeded million

In June 2021, it became known that the number of users of the digital platform for managing innovation and working with Wote ideas exceeded a million. The number of projects implemented using the Wote platform is growing due to the impact of digital transformation on internal processes in Russian companies. The main interest in the platform is shown by large representatives of industry and the financial sector - it is in these sectors that the demand for innovation management is most active as of June 2021.

A survey of customers and backbone companies conducted by Wote showed that in 2021, companies are returning to previously "frozen" investment projects. Moreover, in 2021, Russian banks and industrial enterprises began to more actively consider the economic effect of innovation. According to the survey, as of June 2021, on average, this is about 1 billion rubles annually. Business began to pay more attention to employee involvement in the innovation process - 92% of companies have such investments and goals embedded in the development strategy for 2021.

In 2021, the Wote platform completed the rebranding process under which another development strategy was adopted. Previously, the platform and company were known as WikiVote. Initially, the platform was created as a digital environment in which proposals are selected in order to promote innovation in society with the help of collective intelligence. These were mainly crowdsourcing projects. Joint projects with Sberbank made a significant contribution to the development of the platform. Over time, the technology began to be used in large companies to manage innovation in production, as it combined with the philosophy of Kaizen and Lean Management. The Wote platform is used in various industries. The main task of the platform is to help businesses create technologies, products and services, improve work processes, and employees to offer and implement their initiatives and ideas.

Wote is becoming more business oriented. If earlier WikiVote was more a social project promoting crowdsourcing and social effects, then Wote is more about economic effects and achieving business goals. We saw that not only large companies are ready to invest in their own employees - the pandemic has become in many ways a driver for the development of a culture of innovation. Moreover, business began to better understand what economic effects this development and investment gives in the medium term,
said Elizabeth Temir, chief executive of Wote.

Wote technologies and products are used both in significant social projects and in large production and technology companies. In public projects, Wote works as a platform for accelerating ideas and finding consensus on "hot" topics.

In the commercial sector, crowdsourcing is no longer used as a basic mechanic, but one of the elements of business processes. In the Sberbank Idea platform, created by the Wote team, bank employees are working to find new ideas, improve customer service and solve system problems. And in the Holding "Helicopters of Russia" on the basis of the product Wote built the system of management of KAIZEN-offers - a process used in many production companies to promote internal innovations.

Innovation is directly related to the involvement of people in the process of generating ideas and proposals. In the near future, the creation of an innovative culture in companies will be a priority area for investment - this is evidenced by research and surveys that Wote regularly conducts.

The company Wote is considering the possibility of entering the international market taking into account its rapid development in the future of the next 5 years. The global innovation management market is expected to reach $1.97 billion by 2025, an average increase of 24.58%. Moreover, Wote plans to develop products and services for SMBs - medium and small businesses are actively developing an idea of the quality of internal and external communications, which should be to create innovative and simply competitive products.
