2020: Mobile App LunchBox

Mobile application: The LunchBox network has changed its corporate identity. Along with updating the style of the application, the main screen was revised, additional emphasis was placed on the best offers, combos and promotions. Cards have become larger, they better show dishes, and navigating the entire chain of steps from selecting a dish to visiting a cafe has become easier so as not to make the client think about interfaces.

Self-service kiosks: The main task in designing a self-service kiosk for a cafe is to create an interface that allows the client to make an order as quickly as possible. The mobile application was taken as a basis and redesigned for another physical format (horizontal orientation, larger size of the touch panel) and a new type of interaction: The menu for choosing categories and dishes was placed on one page. The right column contains a short list of items in the shopping cart. This layout reduces the number of screen transitions.

Information about the dish, its composition and additional parameters became larger and, accordingly, more accessible. For example, if a client adheres to a vegan diet, in one move he can choose the appropriate version of the dish.

The process of interaction with the kiosk completes payment using various payment systems in contact and contactless ways. A sticker and a box number appear on the screen and check, where you can pick up the order.

Boxes: An additional task was to update the design of boxes. New hardware modules were used, a service panel was created to output the status of each box and the software part was updated so that the equipment complex worked as intended.

Information panels for kitchen workers: The expansion of the LunchBox business has led to an increase in the number of customers in each cafe. There was a need to place much more orders on displays for the kitchen - but so that information content does not suffer.

Results of cooperation: The second release focused on scaling the project (commissioning a new restaurant), redesigning the project in terms of improving user convenience and solving business problems to increase cross-sales conversion. All tasks were completed by Spider Group in full.
