TechLAB on June 23, 2021 announced the development of software to support the study of a drug for the treatment of melanoma.

The Melanoma Specialists Association (Melanoma) conducts a multicenter observational study of a domestic drug for the treatment of patients with inoperable or metastatic melanoma - FORA (FOrteca Real practice Assessment). It is attended by oncologists (researchers) from all over Russia, specialists from leading cancer centers. To support the study, TechLAB provided the Association with software (software) developed on the basis of the Galenos platform. With this software, researchers can complete individual patient registration maps in a single electronic format, allowing monitoring and evaluation of treatment outcomes.

The observation program "FORA" is held in order to assess the safety and effectiveness of the original immuno-oncological domestic drug prolgolimab (FORTECA) in the context of real clinical practice. Using the appropriate software allows you to organize the process of collecting and processing all significant clinical data.

TechLAB is responsible for developing the necessary IT tools, launching them, as well as supporting the participants and organizers of the study. As soon as possible, based on their solution, the Galenos platform, IT specialists completed the preparation of software to support the study at all its stages, as well as developed a convenient format for entering data and effectively analyzing medical statistics. As part of the project, IT specialists accompany users at every stage of the work.

Thanks to the high level of skills of the TechLAB team and its operational support of doctors, we were able to minimize the labor costs of preparing for the study and start work as soon as possible. As of June 2021, about 100 patients and more than 60 doctors from 47 medical organizations participate in it: among them are the national medical research centers of Russia - the N.N. The Galenos platform is a ready-made solution for the implementation of nosological registers. However, the software requirements presented by the Association required us to make some improvements in a short time. Thanks to a good knowledge of the subject area - TechLAB have long been work with oncologists - we have completed the task and are confident in the quality of the tools developed.
