MDinc is a Russian developer of technologies for the treatment of nervous diseases, founded in 2018. The company is engaged in medical rehabilitation using computer vision, augmented reality and machine learning technologies.

MDinc develops products for remote rehabilitation of patients after stroke and traumatic brain injuries, treatment of facial paralysis. The medtech startup also released a non-commercial product using augmented reality technology, which helps interrupt phantom pains.

The founder is Magomed-Amin Idilov, he owns 55% of the company (data from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities by the end of June 2021).

History

2021: Attracting $300,000 investment

At the end of June 2021, it became known that MDinc attracted investments in the amount of $300 thousand. Konstantin Klyuk (former owner of the agro-industrial holding Promagro), managing partner of the investment company Kontinuum Group, invested in the project. Kontinuum Group announced this on its Facebook page. Its participants did not disclose the financial and other parameters of the transaction.

MDinc only reported that thanks to the funds received, hundreds of thousands of patients suffering from paralysis of the limbs will be able to get help.

Russian developer of augmented reality technologies for nerve treatment MDinc raised $300 thousand.

The transaction was implemented, including with the support of the program "Towards Impact Investments" - it helps social entrepreneurs find money, investors - get income.

According to program partner Lyubov Sherysheva, such transactions are an important indicator that investors already understand that investments in socially significant projects are profitable and rational in terms of a long-term strategy for the development and diversification of the investment portfolio.

Kontinuum Group is engaged in investments in social projects, direct and venture capital investments.[1]
