MTUSI introduced the experience and development of Nvidia into the educational process

2021: Development of two training programmes

The Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics (MTUSI) announced on June 30, 2021 that together with the technology company Nvidia developed a curriculum in two disciplines: "Deep Neural Network Training Technology," which was tested in the autumn semester of the 2020-2021 school year, and "Intelligent Systems," which was launched in the spring semester of 2020-2021 school year.

The discipline "Deep Learning Technology of Neural Networks" was studied by undergraduates of the 2nd year of the faculty "Information Technologies," and undergraduates of the 3rd year and undergraduates of the 1st year of the faculty "Information Technologies" got acquainted with the discipline "Intelligent Systems." Teachers of the Department of Mathematical Cybernetics and Information Technology gave a course of lectures and conducted laboratory classes using materials from Nvidia.

At the end of the course, 10 undergraduates of 2 courses, 30 undergraduates of 1 course and 13 bachelors of 3 courses were tested on the official educational portal of the company and received registered certificates.

The Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics has extensive experience in using developments in the educational process. The introduced program will allow our students to more thoroughly master the disciplines, demonstrate their knowledge and skills in practice. MTUSI is equipped with all the necessary equipment for comfortable training and advanced research. Cooperation with Nvidia is aimed at improving the quality of education of young specialists, "said Sergey Erokhin, rector of the university.
