2021: Plans for implementation of "Examus"

On July 1, 2021, the developer of the online proctoring system Examus announced a collaboration with Norilsk Nickel. As part of the agreement, Norilsk Nickel will introduce control technology for online testing of workers by March 1, 2022. The solution will allow the company to control the remote testing process.

This system, based on the audio and video stream, as well as screen recording on the device of the test person, analyzes the behavior of the person and records possible write-off attempts. The verification process involves both specially trained experts and computer vision technology, which is part of artificial intelligence (AI).

As part of the agreement, Examus will integrate this testing control evaluation system with the Norilsk Nickel educational platform of AS Norilsk Nickel Academy. It is planned that most of the tests will be carried out automatically (without human participation), and in some cases simultaneous human and AI participation can be used. During the project "Examus" will also train Norilsk Nickel employees to form the customer's own staff of specialists. According to Norilsk Nickel's forecasts, the updated testing system will allow starting in 2022 to conduct up to 8,000 tests per year, and from 2025 - up to 20,000, using the Examus solution.

The offline format of corporate testing always requires certain expenses for the rental of premises, the purchase of equipment and software, payment of travel expenses, etc. The remote format allows you to significantly reduce costs, but it is not easy to ensure effective control over the testing of workers in this case. With the help of the Examus system, we plan to modernize our testing, as well as increase the efficiency of staff training, "commented Evgenia Patsyna, deputy director of the Personnel Policy Department and head of the Norilsk Nickel Staff Training and Evaluation Department.

We are technology partners not only for universities, but also for the corporate sector. Such systems have already confirmed their high efficiency, and our cooperation with Norilsk Nickel is another step towards their integration into the corporate training of the largest Russian players, "said Dmitry Istomin, CEO of Examus.
