Research and development work (R&D) in the field of optics, biometrics and contactless identification is carried out in a "clean room" on the basis of the scientific and educational center "Nanomaterials and nanotechnology" of the Ural Federal University. In 2021, a Scientific and Technical Cooperation Agreement was concluded between BIOSMART and the university.

Soon after, the entrance to the "clean room" was equipped with a terminal for identification by palm veins BioSmart PV-WTC.

Only a few people have access to the "clean room" - university scientists and BIOSMART engineers. MCDS on the basis of identification by palm veins guarantees that no strangers will get into the room.

When choosing a technological solution for the biometric MCUD in the scientific and educational center "Nanomaterials and Nanotechnologies," we did not fluctuate for a second - of course, only the veins of the palm. Unlike an RFID card, a biometric identifier cannot be transferred to third parties or compromised as a digital code.

The biometric MCUD in UrFU once again proves that identification by palm veins is a technology that works on the most protected objects.
