2021: Presentation of the service "Real Carrier"
On July 5, 2021, ATI.SU introduced the Real Carrier service, which increases the safety and transparency of interaction between the main participants in the supply chain. He helps the shipper make sure that his counterparty is not an intermediary, and he has his own transport. In turn, the carrier gets the opportunity to increase its rating and attract more customers.
One of the problems that exists in the freight market is the fact that not all carrier companies are owners of freight cars and carry out transportation on their own. A certain share of the market is occupied by intermediaries who earn on the fact that they take an order from the shipper at one cost and offer the real contractor at another. If there are several such intermediaries in the chain, then communications are complicated, and this opens up additional opportunities for fraud.
The ATI.SU Freight Exchange received a large number of requests from cargo owners and forwarders to create a service that would distinguish real carriers from intermediaries. Therefore, it was decided to develop a service that allows the shipper to always find up-to-date information about the real status of counterparties and their vehicles.
Information about the vehicle in the service "Real Carrier" is constantly maintained in current condition, that is, it is not limited only to the initial verification of truck ownership. Monitoring is based on checking the traffic police database for whether the data of vehicles registered in the service have not changed, whether their owner has changed. Data is updated on a weekly basis automatically.
The carrier for registering vehicles in the service needs to fill out a form in his personal account on the ATI.SU Exchange, download CAT and STS scans and issue a Real Carrier license. After confirming his fleet, he receives the mark "Real Carrier" - the corresponding icon appears in his "Participant Passport" on the Exchange and in the general rating. Thus, the carrier becomes "more noticeable" for shippers and can receive more orders at market rates, and not at lower rates of intermediaries.
The freight market is very dynamic: new ones constantly appear and old participants leave the market, rates on services change under the influence of many factors. All this leads to opaque pricing and the emergence of favorable conditions for fraud. To minimize the risks associated with a large number of intermediaries in the supply chain, we have developed the Real Carrier service. And already the first weeks of his work have shown that he is in demand by market participants, "comments Alexander Wilde, development director of ATI.SU Freight Exchange. |
