2021: Implementation of operational resource planning

On July 5, 2021, IBS announced the completion of the implementation of the operational resource planning system on the SAP MRS platform at Voronezh Sintezkauchuk JSC, which is part of the SIBUR group. The deployed system allows you to plan and allocate employee resources, increasing the efficiency of the production process.

The project team with IBS implemented the transition from resource planning in Microsoft Excel to planning in SAP MRS. The specialists provided the toolkit with the process of end-to-end maintenance planning (maintenance and repair) in SAP ERP, from the stage of annual plans to the execution of work by executing employees using mobile devices.

The implemented IT solution ensures the process of work planning with accuracy up to minutes, the daily work schedule of M&R for each employee is now formed in the system. The work of operational resource planners consists in the formation of temporary teams of maintenance and maintenance contractors, taking into account information on the availability and qualification of personnel, the distribution of the weekly and daily scope of work among the executors. Unlike working in Excel, SAP MRS allows you to see the availability of employees based on personnel management system data, as well as track the load of personnel on repair work in related industries.
said Igor Zverev, head of the IBS SAP Solutions team.
