Project objective was integration of processes of financial accounting (including tax accounting and accounting records), fixed asset accounting, inventory management, controlling of costs in the SAP ERP system. The project became logical continuation of the solution on process automation of maintenance and repair of the equipment (TORO) implemented earlier. Works on implementation of an information system were performed in three phases, beginning August, 2008.
At the first stage the basic solution supporting accomplishment of basic processes of financial accounting at the enterprise was developed. This work took 11 months and included a stage of collecting and refining of requirements, stages of conceptual design, setup of the solution, user training and test operation of a system. After preparation of the basic solution, adaptation of a system under the requirements of the customer considering specific features of the power industry and also expanding the list of the reports and documents prepared in a system was performed. Commercial operation of the created solution became the final stage. Thus, since January, 2010 all accounting processes of the Krasnoyarsk hydroelectric power station are transferred to the system of SAP which became the main enterprise information system. By this time all necessary normative reference information was entered into the system. In April, 2010 the Krasnoyarsk hydroelectric power station, with assistance of specialists of Partner Business Consulting company, "successfully closed" the first quarter 2010, on the basis of data of a system all necessary reporting was prepared and handed over.
