2021: Implementation of InfoWatch Traffic Monitor

The MFC of the Kaliningrad Region has introduced a comprehensive system of protection of pop InfoWatch Traffic Monitor from the Russian developer GK InfoWatch, which the latter reported on July 8, 2021.

As a result of the project Personal Data Protection , applicants were provided in all 24 service departments in each municipal education and "MFTS for business" located in the regional center. In total, in the structure of the institution as of July 2021, there are about 250 windows for serving the population - a total of about 500 accounts of MFC employees.

The implementation of the project made it possible to ensure full control of confidential information of the MFC, which for us is one of the most important tasks in the framework of providing digital services to citizens. In addition, we managed to comply with the requirements of regulators for the storage of personal data by introducing a system from a Russian manufacturer used in many organizations of the country, "commented Olga Dudina, deputy director of the MFC.

One of the key requirements of the information security sector of the MFC was the high degree of automation of work in the system, related to both the configuration and prevention of information leaks and the detection of fraudulent schemes. "The InfoWatch Traffic Monitor DLP system is a product for protecting digital assets from leaks, as well as analyzing corporate data, forecasting and preventing information security risks. Organizations that own large volumes of personal and other confidential data, such as the MFC of the Kaliningrad Region, should provide for all possible scenarios, eliminating the possibility of leaks of information beyond the corporate perimeter, "said Vladimir Durnev, a representative of the InfoWatch Group of Companies in Kaliningrad.

The introduction of InfoWatch Traffic Monitor allows you to ensure a small number of false positives thanks to the technologies of content analysis, detection and blocking of attempts to distribute confidential information through various communication channels, that is, the maximum level of protection of digital assets.
