The Polish analytical company PMR Research published these researches of the Russian IT market and projections concerning its development in 2010. Analysts are sure that the market smoothly recovers from crisis. Respondents of TAdviser players confirmed a trend, however, in the general opinion, growth on the end of the year will be measured by unambiguous digit and will be no more than 10%.

The most part of the report of PMR Research is devoted to assessment of the crisis phenomena which took place in the market in 2009 that, however, already for anybody is not news. According to researchers of PMR, according to the results of all last year the IT market in Russia sank for 25% in comparison year-on-year up to about 407 billion rubles. The corporate segment occupying 55% of the Russian IT market was forced to select less "branded" and cheaper solutions.

However, at the same time crisis showed that IT are "critical for business survival", the market is far from saturation therefore concerning its future in PMR give iridescent forecasts. In particular, experts promise that in addition to traditional consumers of high technologies (telecom operators, the oil and gas enterprises and the financial sector), we will see increase in demand from players of the industry of retail sales and production. Public sector, especially in 2011 will become one more factor of growth in sales of the IT equipment and services. However, more specific estimates of dynamics in the report are not given.

Respondents of TAdviser market participants unanimously recognized that IT market passed into a thaw stage. The companies called the results according to the results of the first quarters 2010 which really demonstrate improvement of a situation. However, so far optimism of players can be characterized as "careful".

"Considerable market growth in the next one or two years will not be. There will be a slow, but steady growth", - the PR-director of Corus Consulting Asya Vlasova says. On own business in "KORUSE" expect 20% of growth in comparison with last year. From positive markers, for example, in comparison with the first quarter 2009, this year "KORUS" fixes increase in the signed agreements by 30-40%. The forecast of the company concerning growth of the Russian market for the next three years – 5-10% a year.

"In general for 2010 for our forecast reserved and optimistic, two-digit growth as a percentage we do not wait, but there is an excellent opportunity to amplify new demanded competences", - Elena Petrova, the PR-director of the company of I-Teco said. In I-Teco consider that as such "system collapse" in the market and was not, and certain players with "narrow" a portfolio or industry specialization suffered.

Maria Yurgelas, the deputy CEO Sitronics, is convinced that 2010 will pass for IT of the industry "under the flag of recovery of volumes of business". At Sitronics revenue in a segment of IT in the first quarter grew 2010 by 73% and made $33.5 million.

Softline states growth of business of a month by a month for 10-13%. According to Victor Algazin, the sales director of Softline company, an important marker of growth of the market is the sales increase in a segment of SMB most of which strongly suffered from crisis. "Growth on average and small business is about 15-20% year-on-year that above, than mean values on the market", - he says.

However, not all separate mass enthusiasm. Nikolay Zezyulinsky, the director of business development[1]of FORS group company, said that "statements that in domestic IT market obvious rise was outlined, are not buttressed up any by facts" "Unfortunately, neither on number of new projects, nor on the scale of investments into IT, nor on dynamics of sales volume we do not see any notable positive changes", - he added.

Nikolay Zezyulinsky considers that the only thing and the most powerful driver of maintenance of business activity in the industry is public sector. About it, we will remind, and it is told in the report. However at the same time the competition for state orders between the IT companies amplified several times, it became much heavier to work, tell the companies.

As industry "lifesaver" some experts are ready to argue with a public sector role. As Dmitry Vedev commented, the marketing director of IT company, a public sector in the current year can not show IT consumption growth, "as the budget of 2010 was planned very conservatively".

Among the industries so far rather difficult is a situation in mechanical engineering, market participants note. Demand growth is expected in a segment of the solutions allowing to increase efficiency, controllability and transparency of business processes. Solutions of the class BI for financial consolidation, planning and budgeting belong to such solutions analytical the CRM system. Also the interest of customers in the new directions (Outsourcing, SaaS, Virtualization, inexpensive IT services) is noted. Encourages also an equipment segment, note the companies.
