2021: Detention in the case of bribes from funeral companies
In July 2021, it became known about the detention of Lyudmila Alyokhina, acting head of the pathological and anatomical department of the city clinical hospital (GKB No. 5 ). She is suspected of receiving bribes from funeral companies.
According to investigators, on July 6, 2021, the suspect, while at her workplace, received a bribe in cash in the amount of 170 thousand rubles from a citizen representing the interests of one of the funeral companies. The money, according to the investigation, was transferred for accelerating the process of processing documents to the relatives of the deceased, the press service of the regional investigation department of the Investigative Committee of Russia reports.
The suspect was charged with receiving a bribe (paragraph "c" of part five of article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - receiving a bribe on a large scale). Under this article, a fine of up to four million rubles is provided or in the amount of 90 times the amount of a bribe with deprivation of the right to hold certain posts, or imprisonment for up to 12 years.
The pathologist did not admit his guilt in the crime. By July 9, 2021, the investigation went to court with a petition to elect a woman a preventive measure.
