On July 13, 2021, Siemens Digital Industries Software announced that the Gas Mobility division of TotalEnergies chose Siemens's industrial Internet of Things MindSphere system to collect and analyze operational data from a network of automobile gas stations. As part of the complete digitalization strategy, TotalEnergies Gas Mobility has already connected more than 50 gas stations in the Netherlands, Belgium and France to the system in the first year.
