2021: Astra Linux Special Edition Compatibility

On July 16, 2021, Astra Linux Group of Companies, together with the Prestigio brand, announced that the Prestigio Multiboard Light line of cross-platform interactive panels had passed all the necessary tests for compatibility with the Astra Linux Special Edition special-purpose OS.

Prestigio Multiboard Light solutions are ideal for interactive and remote learning and can be the basis for creating smart classrooms or meeting rooms, as they provide a set of basic functions for presentations, conferences, collaboration and wireless data exchange. The panels are equipped with UHD 4K touch screens with diagonals of 65 and 75 inches, which support up to 20 touch points, and many different ports, including USB Type-C on the front panel. By default, applications for writing, screen mirroring, remote control of the interactive panel, etc., are installed - there is everything you need for comfortable study and work. In addition, an anti-vandal metal body with hardened glass protects the panels from external influences, and the ability to lock the screen ensures the preservation of data.

To check the health of devices running Astra Linux, the PMB528K001 PC module was used, compatible with the PMBO00L654, PMBO00L654_CIS, PMBO00L754 and PMB000L754_CIS models. The specialists of Prestigio Solutions, who conducted the tests, installed the Astra Linux Special Edition on the PC, including with the installed cumulative security update "Bulletin No. 20200722SE16" (Update 6) and conducted a set of studies. In particular, experts tested the support of the operating system for built-in network adapters, USB, integrated video and audio adapters, the operability of the touch screen, stylus, etc. The test results confirmed that the hardware and software stack works correctly and is suitable for use in education, as well as for use in public and private organizations, and the Prestigio Multiboard Light line received an official certificate 5267/2021 as part of the Ready for Astra Linux technology partnership program.
