2021: Start Selling

In July 2021, Samsung Electronics announced the launch of sales of The Wall, a large modular monitor. The display diagonal exceeds 1000 inches and the refresh rate reaches 120 Hz.

In the novelty, the Micro AI processor was used, which, according to the developers, instantly analyzes and optimizes each frame of video. To do this, 16 different models of neural networks are used, which allow improving image quality up to a resolution of 8K, increasing contrast and removing noise. Micro AI is also used in 110 "MicroLED TVs.

The manufacturer also draws attention to the presence of Black Seal technology, which makes the screen single-tone, providing even cleaner black for high contrast and detail. The maximum brightness of the display is 1600 nits, which is enough to comfortably view images even in direct sunlight.

Another feature of The Wall is Ultra Chroma technology. It uses narrower wavelengths that make RGB colors twice as clean and accurate as conventional LEDs. In addition, each LED in the 2021 model is 40% less than in The Wall of 2020, which increases black saturation, providing improved color reproduction and contrast of the image.

Thanks to modular technology, The Wall monitor can be installed in a variety of positions, including concave and convex configurations, attachment to the ceiling, as well as suspended, inclined and angular mounting. However, after installing The Wall, it is enough for users to perform the Factory Seam Adjustment image adjustment procedure for the entire assembly once, you do not need to configure each module separately.

The cost of the product by July 20, 2021 is not called.[1]
