2021: Development of a monitoring system for passenger bus traffic control

July 21, 2021 it became known that the specialists of the integrator company OOO Sky Telecom developed a system for monitoring and controlling the movement of passenger buses Cheboksary in the base. Galileosky terminal It monitors the bus traffic schedule to adjust it for congestion through voice communication a dispatcher with drivers.

The monitoring system was developed for the carrier "First Transport Company" - it serves 4 bus routes in Cheboksary for July 2021, a total of 48 buses in the fleet.

The main elements in the system were Galileosky 7.0 terminals and ITline electronic signage, with which there is already integration in the terminal firmware.

On each bus 4 scoreboards were installed: front, side, rear and inside the cabin. The front and side displays the name of the route, its starting and ending points. The rear is the route number, and the display inside the cabin is the time, date and name of the next stop.

Information about the approach of the bus is also seen by those who are waiting for it at the stop - on stationary electronic signage. To do this, the integrator needed to set up the transfer of data from buses to the platform served by Cheboksary Telecom.

To track the bus schedule and correct it, voice communication was set up between drivers and the dispatcher. For the safety of drivers, an alarm button was also connected.
