2021: NEC MultiSync WD551 Windows Release

Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe announced the release of a collaboration solution on July 21, 2021. NEC MultiSync WD551 Windows is a display that embodies the idea of simplicity, flexibility and functionality. This product represents the concept of "all-in-one" and solves a set of corporate tasks for organizing and holding short meetings, as well as traditional meetings.

NEC MultiSync WD551 Windows is a 55 'high-resolution multi-touch display with PCAP technology and Windows Ink support. The device is equipped with a flexible interface for easier and faster work: Bring Your Own Meeting (BYOM) feature allows meeting participants to connect peripheral devices using a USB-C cable to instantly transfer content and start a video conference, using existing Microsoft software tools, such as Office 365 and Microsoft Teams. The display can work independently, without third-party audio and video devices: an integrated 4K camera, a system of 6 microphones, front speakers (2 x 12 W) and a subwoofer (15 W) allow you to meet with crystal clear and clear sound. Also, collaboration with Windows will make work with NEC MultiSync WD551 familiar to Microsoft users - a package of Microsoft corporate and business tools is built into the display software.

NEC MultiSync WD551 Windows is designed to work closely with people. PCAP sensor technology and Optical Bonding technology provide high quality writing. Two Active Pen stylus stored in the side compartment of the display will give a light and accurate letter, like on paper, and the Windows Ink function will prevent accidental response when touching the palm.

NEC MultiSync WD551 Windows embodies a high-tech and intelligent device. The display is equipped with smart IoT sensors that collect data about the surrounding space, for example, room occupancy, temperature, external lighting and air quality. Sensors also respond to movement by starting the device when a person approaches.
