On July 22, 2021, the online YouDo.com service and the Russian online recruitment platform hh.ru announced a strategic partnership and the launch of a platform for working legal entities with self-employed - YouDo Business.

YouDo The business is based on the c2c service s2s-Marketplace. YouDo.com This b2b product helps companies use a profitable tax regime for the self-employed, select freelance performers, optimize operating costs for electronic document management, make legal settlements, form the necessary closing documents, pay taxes for the self-employed in the Federal Tax Service and minimize risks when working with them. Registered users of YouDo and hh.ru with the official status of self-employed (professional income tax payers) will be able to provide services to legal entities. For the self-employed, responses to vacancies are free.

The monetization of the platform consists of two business models: payment for attracting performers and fees for payments. If the client attracts performers independently, then no payments are required except for the commission. The company plans to develop and offer additional products to customers, including financial and insurance products, so that the self-employed have additional social guarantees that are not inferior to classic employment.

When working with self-employed for business, the risks associated with the possible reclassification of relations to other forms of employment are relevant. Since the tax regime is still very young, many companies only look at it and expect the accumulation of judicial practice. Incorrect formalization of relations with freelance personnel, errors in the process of mass payments or document management can attract the attention of regulatory authorities, which can lead to additional taxes and fines, blocking of the company's accounts under 115 Federal Law, etc. In 2020, YouDo, together with the Federal Tax Service of Russia, Rostrud and ONF, developed a memo for business, where, together with regulators, he collected the main recommendations to the market when working with self-employed. Companies need more flexible solutions to operate efficiently and compete in the market, and the joint platform of YouDo and hh.ru closes all the main obstacles to the development of relations between business and self-employed.

According to our forecasts, in the next three years the number of self-employed may amount to 10-15% of the total able-bodied population of the country.
