The organization includes a design department, which employs experienced specialists in the survey and design of construction facilities, including communications and antenna-mast structures.
The introduction of a specialized system for project management was associated with the need to maintain a large number of orders at the same time. It was also necessary to ensure the accounting of project costs, full control over their implementation, as well as an assessment of prospective orders in terms of their profitability.
The implementation of the automated project management system had the following objectives:
- Systematizing management information in a single information environment for all projects;
- Operational monitoring of project progress and results;
- control of project commands loading;
- accumulation of statistics for further rationing of projects.
To create an automated system, the industry solution "1C: ERP + PM Project Organization Management 2," developed by ITLand and 1C, was chosen.
ITLand performed the following works:
- Collection and analysis of requirements for the automated system.
- Consultations on the choice software and options for its support.
- Delivery of the software product "1C: ERP + PM Project Organization Management 2," industry licenses.
- Training of company employees.
- Consulting during implementation.
The implementation of the software product was carried out by the specialists of the company "Northern Wind" independently. The project management system based on "1C: ERP + PM Project Organization Management 2" was launched into industrial operation on October 1, 2018.
The following functions are automated within the project:
- Project planning;
- Accounting of business transactions on projects;
- Analysis of activities in the context of projects.
The implemented project management system made it possible to create a single information environment for storing all information on the company's orders.
The system has:
- Specialists who record all initial information on orders in the system.
- Project managers maintain their orders in the system, monitor the progress of implementation, monitor the timing, fulfillment of warranty obligations, and evaluate the results.
- Finance Specialist - Controls order costs, payments, and volumes.
- The Director-General analyses the overall picture of the organization based on the data provided in the system.
Within the framework of the project, 10 workplaces were automated.
