2021: Supply of single-section trams "Lionwenok"
On July 27, 2021, PK Transport Systems (PK TS) announced the transfer of the last units of low-floor single-section trams 71-911EM Lwenok to the State Unitary Enterprise Moscow Metro. Thus, the company fully fulfilled part of the contract by delivering 40 single-section cars to Moscow in 4.5 months.
According to the company, from May 2021, Lviv took to the routes of the Krasnopresnenskaya tram network in addition to the already familiar Muscovites Vityazyam. As of July 2021, trams of this model run in the north and north-west of the capital and have already managed to get high passenger ratings.
"Lviv" became the first single-section trams to arrive in Moscow in the last eight years. The exterior design was developed specifically for the capital of Russia - to form a single appearance of Moscow trams.
All 40 single-section trams from PC Transport Systems have already been delivered to Krasnopresnenskoye depot. On June 26, 2021, the last ordered car arrived. These are the next generation trams. They are adapted for low mobility passengers and are generally good: they have a climate control system, USB and TYPE-C connectors for charging gadgets and multimedia screens. We received 40 cars ahead of schedule and bring them to the routes almost 3 months earlier than planned. This is a transport that changes obsolete trams in the north and north-west of Moscow. The cars are completely low-floor and convenient for all passengers to enter and exit. In total, in 2021 we plan to receive more than 100 trams. commented Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow, Head of the Department of Transport and Development of Road Transport Infrastructure |
In September 2020, PC Transport Systems won a competition for the production and supply of 114 trams for Moscow. We are talking about 74 three-section trams "Vityaz-Moscow" and 40 single-section models "Lionwenok." As of July 2021, there are 399 Vityaz-Moscow trams in the tram park of Moscow. In the fall of 2019, the company fully fulfilled the contract for the supply of 300 tram cars 71-931M Vityaz-M for 2 years 6 months and 6 days. In December 2020, the CU PC completed the delivery of 90 pieces of equipment a month ahead of schedule as part of an additional agreement.
