On July 28, 2021, the company First BIT announced that its specialists had implemented their own solutions "BIT.Stroitvitel.Contractor" and "BIT.Stroitelitel.Customer," having automated the regulated and managerial accounting in the construction company Sigmastroy for 1.5 months, set up a document flow and calculation of the cost of construction facilities.

Sigmastroy LLC is a construction company that has been operating since 2003. Sigma Group of Companies builds and operates apartment complexes in the center of Rostov-on-Don. Technologies and construction experience allow us to occupy high positions in this market. The company's facilities create the urban design of the city, are distinguished by good architecture and quality of implementation.

Sigmastroy needed a regulatory and management accounting automation system. The past system did not allow taking into account the specifics of construction activities. The management of the company, determining the IT integrator, was guided by the main criterion for choosing an automation partner - a high level of competence and experience. Therefore, the international company First Bit was approved as the executor of the project.

The objectives of the project were as follows:

  • automate regulated and managerial accounting taking into account the specifics of construction activities;
  • establish document flow and analytics on construction facilities.

To achieve the goals, the program product "BIT.STROITELYY" was chosen - its own development of the First Bit for automation of the construction business.

The specialists of the First Bit together with the company "Sigmastroy" in the process of the survey identified the key tasks:

  • ensure accounting and tax accounting in the context of construction facilities according to RAS 2/2008;
  • organize the accounting of costs for the construction of finished facilities and settlements with buyers and investors, the calculation of incoming VAT;
  • keep separate records of construction and installation works performed in-house and by third-party contractors, record subcontracting works in the context of counterparties;
  • Organize cost accounting for additional random analytics (activity types, cost groups, construction phases, etc.)
  • Carry out an inventory of work in process with detail to cost items, and the ability to specify the percentage of work in process
  • set up automatic generation of industry unified form KS-2, generation of consolidated report KS-3;
  • Obtain a detailed material movement analysis
  • keep records of material write-off to construction facilities in form M-29;
  • promptly obtain an analysis of the cost structure and financial result for construction facilities;
  • keep records of settlements on guarantee (insurance) withholding;
  • monitor and monitor customer/general contractor services;
  • Offset the advance in proportion to the scope of work performed;
  • keep records of areas of premises of investment objects with various levels of detail, storage in the system of their history of change;
  • keep records of investment and equity agreements;
  • Record assignments of claims under investment and equity agreements;
  • keep records of costs for construction of investment facilities, accounting of finished facilities and settlements with investors and equity holders in certain accounts of the chart of accounts;
  • maintain separate VAT accounting for the construction of investment facilities;
  • Distribute the total costs to the objects
  • receive the automatically calculated cost of premises of finished construction facilities.

The First Bit team launched the modules "BIT.BUILDER. Contractor" and "BIT.BUILDER. Customer," having solved the assigned tasks.

Project Results:

  • reduced number of manual operations by 75%;
  • increased speed and speed of work of employees;
  • reliability of data and correctness of management reports;
  • space is recorded, sales and equity agreements are taken into account, an analysis of the situation for sales objects in various statuses is available, you can calculate the cost of construction objects up to the cost of each room, keep VAT records in accordance with the requirements of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation.
