ANT Technologies On July 28, 2021, the company announced the expansion of the functionality of the warehouse management system WMS Logistics Vision Suite and introduced the time window planning tool for loading and unloading transport of funds "LVS Time Slot Planning."

When the warehouse is high, loading and unloading operations can take a long period, waiting for their turn creates inconvenience for both carriers and warehouse employees, reflected in the uneven loading of warehouse resources.

The implementation of LVS Time Slot Planning allows you to significantly reduce downtime while waiting for your queue. The advantage of using the module is not only in minimizing the downtime of vehicles in the warehouse complex, but also provides undeniable advantages for carriers in the form of a convenient tool for planning a visit to the warehouse through a web browser.

When booking or canceling a trip to the warehouse, the user receives an email notification. After booking the time window, depending on the purpose of the visit, a Receipt or Shipment is created in the Logistics Vision Suite with the user data filled in.

In the warehouse, LVS Time Slot Planning enables you to monitor and evaluate the quality of your work, allocate resources optimally, and schedule the working hours of your warehouse staff. Module functionality:

• management of scheduled visits of suppliers and recipients of goods;
• possibility of remote reservation of time windows (timeslots) via the web interface;
• Access to multiple supply chain participants
• Category definitions (access rights) for supply chain participants;
• Ability to block supply chain members' accounts
• creation of time windows (timeslots) for different types of operations;
• Ability to create and use previously defined time range templates
• Confirmation of reservation/cancellation of the time window (timeslot) via e-mail;
• ability to print a ticket/pass to the warehouse, travel card;
• Life cycle log of scheduled visits:
• display of the warehouse visit plan in Logistics Vision Suite

This module does not occupy WMS licenses, that is, it is possible to use unlimited number of users. The proposed tool will be useful for both warehouse employees and carriers, offering on-line booking of warehouse visit times and monitoring of work performed.
