Head of Freedom Finance Timur Turlov invested $1 million in Kazakhstan developer of AI system for diagnosis of stroke Cerebra

According to his forecasts, within 3-5 years, universal and automated medical systems based on artificial intelligence will be created in the world, which will allow you to diagnose a huge number of pathologies and their signs with high accuracy, inaccessible by 2021 for doctors. These systems will be based on narrowly directed software products and services, Zhusupov said.

By mid-2021, the Cerebra service is used in pilot mode in eight hospitals in Kazakhstan. The startup plans to install software in all stroke centers of Kazakhstan.

It is noted that in Kazakhstan stroke is a disease that more often than others leads to death. Every second patient dies (52%). Kazakhstan is one of the top 30 countries in terms of stroke mortality in the world, and 80% of survivors remain disabled.

Doszhan Zhusupov sets the goal to "go beyond Kazakhstan" and earn in countries - neighbors in the region, in Russia and Central Asia. According to him, a new round of financing for $2.5-3 million is planned.[1]
