This will allow the Bank to increase the efficiency of investments in IT by transferring costs for IT projects from capital investments to operational ones. At the same time, the Bank transfers only the process, functional part of the software to the cloud. All databases, customer and financial information remain exclusively within the Bank.

Moving to clouds will reduce the cost of finding and paying for specific narrow IT professionals who can deploy the appropriate infrastructure, support special IT tools and development. Yandex.Cloud will become not only an infrastructure partner for the Bank, but also a supplier of ready-made solutions.

As of August 2021, a pilot project on migrating IT processes to the cloud has been completed. The pilot confirmed the effectiveness and safety of work in Yandex.Cloud. In the future, it is planned to deploy part of the public client services in the cloud.

Cloud technology has advanced significantly in terms of reliability and security in recent years and is an obvious tool for improving business efficiency. In addition, the architectural solution for transferring services to Yandex assumes that the database with customer information and other information resources remain on the Bank's site, and we transfer only the logic and implementation of services to the cloud.
