2021: Moving Accounting to the Cloud

Cloud4Y on August 10, 2021 announced that it had transferred Omtey Product accounting to the cloud.

Omtey Product is a meat processing and dairy company. It works mainly in Moscow and the Moscow Region, offering its own products in several stores.

The company invests a significant part of its free funds in production and logistics. Because of this, investments in IT infrastructure are carried out on a residual basis. Omtey Product understood this, so they considered the cloud market as a way to get the right performance quickly and without significant costs. It was planned that the company's accounting would migrate to the cloud.

Corporate cloud provider Cloud4Y provided Omtey Product with 30-day test access to the infrastructure. This allowed the company to assess the benefits of using cloud solutions, as well as determine the amount of resources consumed. At the end of the test period, an agreement was concluded for the provision of infrastructure and 1C licenses.

Using Cloud4Y's IaaS solution to organize remote work with 1C turnkey, Omtey Product closed its need for an accounting organization. The company does not have to take care of setting up and maintaining the IT infrastructure, while working in 1C has become more convenient and faster, and if necessary, there is the possibility of refinement and customization on a fault-tolerant virtual server.
