2021: Red OS Transition Plan

The Ministry of Digital Development of the Kaluga Region and the Russian developer RED SOFT have concluded an agreement on cooperation and cooperation in order to implement a program of import substitution information technologies in the region. This was announced by Red Soft on August 12, 2021.

Cooperation within the agreement will begin with the translation of the automated jobs of staff of the ministry on Russian operational sistemured OS in the nearest future. Thus, the Ministry of Finance of the Kaluga Region will become the first executive body in the region that will fully fulfill the requirements for the import substitution of software.

RED SOFT will continue to share its experience and competencies with other departments in the region. Deputy Governor of the Kaluga Region Dmitry Razumovsky noted that the signing of agreements with RED SOFT and other developers is another important step towards the import substitution of software, which very clearly fits into the strategy of digital transformation of the region.

In the near future, together with the Ministry of Finance of the Kaluga Region, it is planned to develop a "roadmap" for the import substitution of software, ensuring continuous processes and a steady increase in the independence of IT infrastructure in the subject. We are confident that our experience will ensure a smooth and "painless" transition to domestic software, which has already proved competitiveness in general and an advantage in safety issues.
