In mid-August 2021, it became known about the start of mass production of the first domestic electric car in Kyrgyzstan. We are talking about the Kami Nimble model developed by Kami Motors.

The length of a small truck is 4240 mm, the width is 1600 mm, and the height is 1980 mm. The size of the cargo platform is 2700 by 1600 mm (4.3 m2). The car is capable of transporting up to 700 kg.

The electric car received a lithium phosphate battery with a capacity of 100 A * h, which, according to the developers, provides a range of 110 km.

The cabin is a frame of steel pipes sheathed with composite panels. They were made flat and angular specifically for cheaper production.

Asynchronous motor, producing 20.5 liters. from., drives the rear wheels. The mechanical side of Nimble is 95% unified with various AvtoVaz models. Front suspension independent (Macpherson), spring, with hydraulic or gas-filled telescopic shock absorbers. Posterior - dependent on longitudinal semi-elliptic springs.

According to the developers, the truck passed certification according to the rules of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and has access to public roads. The manufacturer promises a two-year guarantee (50,000 km of mileage).

The price of the truck by mid-August 2021 is 600,000 soms, which approximately corresponds to 520,000 rubles. Theoretically, nothing prevents this product from appearing on the Russian market, because the EAEU certification rules are common for all countries included in the organization, and these are Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. Circulation of goods produced by the EAEU within the union is duty-free.

KAMI Motors promises to start supplying electric trucks to customers by the end of 2021, with plans to collect up to 10 thousand copies annually.[1]
