Rostov State Medical University (hereinafter - RostGMU) automated the accounting and management processes of the pharmacy. The implementation reduced the amount of manual labor and accelerated the collection of analytical reports. The project was implemented by specialists of GANDALF, which announced this on August 17, 2021.

Rostov State medical University (hereinafter RostGMU) is one of the educational institutions. The Rostov region university includes: nine faculties, a medical college, a multidisciplinary clinic, research institutes, research centers and laboratories. RostGMU also sells medicines, pharmacy and specialized drugs and consumables.

Since 2013, GENDALF has been cooperating with RostGMU, supplying and servicing software products. To automate the processes of retail drug sales, RostGMU used the industry solution "1C: Retail. Pharmacy. " The prolonged use of the program revealed the need for personal improvements. Employees of the company carried out work in two areas of optimization:

  • The detailing of standard functions for the peculiarities of RostGMU business processes has accelerated the processes of processing, forming and unloading mandatory reporting documents. The functionality of the cashier's workplace was optimized taking into account the reduction in manual operations and the correct transfer of information on the closure of shifts to supervisory organizations.
  • The configuration of interaction with external bases and services consisted in debugging the process of transferring invoices to the SCLIT system, taking into account information on monitoring the movement of drugs. Updates received the functionality of working with the registry of vital and essential drugs.

Personal revision of the software product led to a decrease in manual actions of users, increased the speed of work, correctness and the number of criteria for reporting in the section. The changes led to a reduction in fines and errors caused by the human factor.
