2021: Completion of the first phase of enterprise modernization

One of the manufacturers of aviation electrical equipment, the Kirov "Electric Machine-Building Plant" LEPSE "completed the first stage of modernization of the enterprise by installing machines of its own production. Funds for the renewal of the equipment fleet were provided by the Industrial Development Fund (Group ВЭБ.РФ), which announced this on August 19, 2021.

To update the machine park, LEPSE received a preferential loan under the Components program in the amount of 50 million rubles, of which 35 million rubles were provided by the federal Industrial Development Fund and 15 million rubles by the FRP of the Kirov Region. The total budget for updating production exceeded 112 million rubles.

The loan funds went to the purchase of equipment. Already in August 2021, the company independently manufactured 30 specialized machines to replace the lathes of 1984-1992, which developed their resource. The installed equipment meets the latest requirements for machining and has a modern numerical software control system (NC). By 2024, the plant intends to replace another 150 machines that have developed their resource.

At its own machines, the production of components for aviation equipment was launched: electromechanisms, generators and generator control units. They have already produced 9.1 thousand components.

The plant works in cooperation with all aviation enterprises in Russia, supplying them with electrical equipment for aircraft. LEPSE products are operated on aircraft and helicopters developed by Antonov's design bureaus (An-70, An-124, An-140, An-148), Beriev (Be-103, Be-200), Ilyushin (Il-76, Il-114, Il-96-300), Kamova (52, Ka-32, Ka-26,

We are grateful to the Industrial Development Fund, which provided concessional financing for the modernization of production. Now we can offer the aviation market better products that meet international requirements, with a lower cost. Also, the renewal of the machine park allowed to increase labor productivity and reduce the share of marriage. During the project, 25 new jobs were created, it is planned to organize another 4. Basically, these are operators working on CNC lathes, "said Gennady Mamaev, Director General of LEPSE.
