The current level of expenditure on fuel and energy resources for TATNEFT Group is significant - more than 46 billion rubles per year. The largest item of expenses is payment for electricity, which TATNEFT buys in the 6th price category. With accurate planning of the hourly consumption schedule, this purchasing category reduces the payment rate.

Energy consumption also accounts for a significant portion of the company's greenhouse gas emissions, and efficient consumption management contributes to the goals of reducing such emissions. Therefore, daily monitoring, analysis and effective planning of consumption volumes is a priority of the energy service.

The Energy Department together with the structural divisions (TATNEFT - Energetit and TATNEFT - Production) draw up a daily consumption schedule for each hour. The deviation for each hourly interval is determined on the basis of the daily data on actual expenditure figures. The target level of deviation of the plan from the fact is 1.5%.

At the same time, it is necessary to take into account all changes in the operating modes of significant technological units: pumping stations, commodity parks, boiler houses for extra-viscous oil production and other significant energy consumers. The more accurate the plan is drawn up taking into account all the factors, the lower the cost of payment for deviations.

Previously, hourly consumption was planned through various unrelated information systems. Employees of structural divisions sent data on changing the operating modes of equipment to the planning service through the electronic document management system. The consumption schedule was formed on the basis of complex calculations.

The first of five systems of the Energoportal platform, implemented on the basis of the microservice architecture, allowed to transfer the generation of consumption schedule from manual to automatic mode. By generating a day ahead schedule, the system will automatically take into account changes in the operating mode of each significant process unit or changes in liquid production volumes. In this case, the human factor is excluded, the probability of errors in the preparation of information is reduced.

In addition to the hourly planning system, Energoportal includes a system for calculating the planned consumption of fuel and energy resources, as well as energy conservation and balance programs.

The platform will cover all processes related to the use of fuel and energy resources in the enterprise, starting with planning consumption volumes, completing operational monitoring of consumption volumes and online management at specific technological installations.

After the implementation of all five Energoportal systems, the company will receive a single software package for effective planning, monitoring, analysis of efficiency and the formation of a unified reporting of fuel and energy resource consumption.[1]
