The SAS company preferred "1C:Enterprise 8"

The SAS company, the world's largest private software company, all in a month implemented system implementation on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform. On the closed tender among solution providers as integrator the 1C: Accounting and Trade company (BIT) was selected.

For the purpose of consolidation of the management reporting and planning the SAS Russia/CIS company uses own solution, and at the level of accounting at the Russian office till 2010 in the company spreadsheets and additional program developments were used.

Transition to a new form of business caused more strict requirements to accounting records with which the existing system did not satisfy. Therefore the task to provide accounting according to requirements of the Russian legislation and at the same time to use data of RAS for transformation in US GAAP and providing the management reporting in head office in the system of SAS for financial management was set.

According to Alexander Mironenko conducting the business consultant of SAS Russia/CIS for accounting under RAS the 1C: Accounting 8 program was selected. The European offices usually use other system, but its implementation would be too expensive for the company. Implementation of programs of 1C became the most optimal and fast solution of the arisen task.

Within the project such sections as accounting of settlement with partners, accounting of receivables and payables, accounting of administrative expenses and others are automated.

Important feature which is successfully implemented in 1C:Enterprise 8 is separate accounting on activity, leviable and free from VAT. Unloading of the reporting in the system of head office is also automated.
