On August 26, the company First Bit announced that the specialists of the First Bit integrated their own solution "BIT. Management of the medical center" with a mobile application based on the ONDOC service in the clinic "MEDICA MENTE," organized a personal account of patients on the site with access to their data and schedule for recording, automated the operation of the call center. The project allowed the promotion and expansion of telemedicine services and increased the flow of patients.

According to the company, before the project, the clinic conducted an analysis of the needs of patients, as a result of which it became clear that an automated solution was needed for simpler and more effective interaction on both sides. For example, when analyzing calls to the call center, they noticed that there are difficulties in determining the convenient time of the visit, especially in the case of recording to several doctors at once. Customers often called back to clarify details. It became obvious that it would be more convenient to see the schedule for easy decision-making. Representatives of the clinic called back to confirm the record, and the customers did not have a visual schedule to navigate and make a confident decision.

If you look at the problem from the point of view of the patient, then the mobile application will be the best choice. Before the decision was made, ready-made services were studied, effectively implemented in such centers, the capabilities and functions provided by them. MEDICA MENTE noted the filling of the applications of EMS and the Scandinavian Health Center and, thus, found ONDOC. To select a mobile application or personal account on the site, the main service tasks for the clinic were defined. The company "MEDICA MENTE" defined the goals of the future project - first of all, it was important to implement the patient's medical record and the possibility of online recording, where the schedule of specialists is available for viewing in real time. Coronavirus, it is expected, pushed telemedicine services to development. At the time of the selection of the mobile application, the clinic already used the medical information system "BIT. Management of the medical center" and the developers of the First Bit were involved in tuning the integration with the ONDOC mobile application.

To provide the company with a convenient solution for working with all patients, the project has gone through several stages. At the first stage, data preparation and adaptation of the module were carried out, then the development and integration of the solution with the application - all processes took several months. A large role was assigned to the detailed study of the integration of ONDOC with the decision "BIT.UManagement of the Medical Center" due to the wide specialization of the clinic. The implementation of the service took place in test mode, the staff investigated the possibilities together with patients. Then only passed the full-scale launch of the application available for download. A download link has been added to the printed forms that the patient receives in the clinic.

Now in the patient's office absolutely all directions of doctors in the clinic are reflected. Telemedicine services are provided so far only by doctors of 4-5 specializations, the decision to add directions will be made based on demand and performance tracking. The clinic conducts remote appointments with nonresident patients who may need preliminary consultations, doctor's recommendations, answers to questions - for example, with which analysis or examinations it is worth coming to a full-time consultation. As of August 2021, the average cost of a full-time appointment in a clinic or telemedicine consultation is 1800-2000 rubles - a doctor (from a specialist to a doctor) conducts a full-fledged consultation, collects a history, studies the patient's tests, extracts and conclusions, performs a video examination, and draws up a medical card. Customers from the regions can also receive a service under the compulsory medical insurance policy. Telemedicine as a service will be offered and promoted without fail. It is supposed to connect a widget with telemedicine and online recording, since the clinic has sites aimed at nonresident patients in certain areas.

Having a convenient personal office of the patient is important to increase the number of repeated appointments. For example, you can set up notifications in your personal account using the Marketing features. Traditional mailings can be made by sample - with selection by sex, age, service. The possibility of unloading a reminder for patients from BIT.Umanagement of the medical center has already been implemented - by the date of re-appearance. Accordingly, the patient receives a notification that he needs to sign up for a second visit.

Usually, the clinic takes the patient's feedback over the phone. After the introduction of the personal office in full-scale work, it became possible to track patient feedback on the quality of services provided. For comments on doctors and the clinic, assessments and feedback through ONDOC can be analyzed through a personal account. The company plans to use the survey service after recruiting a sufficient base of connected patients. The results of the research will allow to collect an array of data for further analysis.

The clinic "MEDICA MENTE" strives for a stable increase in the flow of patients. Thanks to the personal room, the patient will collect all the electronic medical card in one place, this gives additional opportunities from the point of view of the service component: the information is concentrated in one "point," convenience motivates to remain a regular client.

Project Results:

  • 75 workplaces are automated;
  • implemented the possibility of independent online recording of the patient and reduced the load on call center operators;
  • part of the call center operators "work is automated, for example, reminder about the upcoming visit and stimulation of repeated visits (passing an annual examination or a scheduled second visit to a doctor, etc.);
  • the flow of patients is growing, thanks to the work of the personal office: an online record with a visual schedule and reminders optimizes the number of canceled appointments.

In order to make or order a mobile application for patients, an office on the site, it is important to understand for what tasks such a service is needed by the clinic. We view it primarily as a medical record of the patient and the possibility of online recording so that our patients can see the schedule of specialists in real time. And also as a service for telemedicine consultations. First Bit specialists helped to select the right solution and set up work with it.
