2021: Router-Enabled Firewall View
On August 30, 2021, RTI Group introduced a special-purpose firewall with a router function, created to securely work with information up to the level of "top secret." Certification according to the requirements of the FSTEC of Russia and the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, as well as the Russian hardware platform based on the Elbrus processor, allows you to use the device in IT systems processing state secrets.
RTI Group firewall is a software and hardware complex for continuous monitoring of information security threats, detection and intrusion prevention. The firewall also acts as a full-fledged router, supporting static and dynamic traffic routing and multicast routing modes by means of PIM SM protocols and IGMP functioning.
The device monitors and filters traffic according to the specified rules based on IP addresses. IPv4 traffic prioritization is implemented based on 3 IPP bits and 6 DSCP bits of the IP packet header. CBQ, HFSC, FIFO, PQ, TBF, NTV methods are used for queue management. The ME supports the mandated labels of domestic protected operating systems.
The possible composition of ME interfaces is from 4 ports of the EthernetIEEE 802.3ab (1000 BASE-T) standard, from 4 ports of the IEEE 802.3ab (1000 BASE-SX) standard, a dedicated network management interface with IPMI support, a dedicated RS-232 management interface, 2 USB 2.0 interfaces.
The administrator can manage firewall components centrally or remotely from the SSH console and web interface. The product is integrated with antivirus protection and security event logging, and supports high availability failover cluster mode.
The firewall is in the stage of certification according to the requirements of the FSTEC of Russia and the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in the 2nd class of security and will be able to be used in systems processing information constituting state secrets up to the level of "top secret."
