2019: Enterprise portal in 4 weeks: how the intranet for the RFU was launched

Situation

RFU sets ambitious goals for the development of football RUSSIAN FEDERATION in - popularizes the game among the population, countries implements programs for the development of mass and children's football, reforms children's and youth football tournaments. To successfully implement these tasks, optimize current work and coordinate the interaction of all departments, the RFU decided to create an intranet portal.

In August 2019, the RFU turned to Em Si Art. The terms for commissioning the product were short, so the partner was chosen with the experience of best practices and knowledge of the special requirements of a particular industry.

Project Tasks

Decision

During the project, EM C Art specialists deployed and configured the 1C-Bitriks24: Enterprise software product, individualized the portal design in accordance with the RFU brand book and configured standard functions.

Project activities

Representatives of the RFU actively use the functionality of Bitriks24 for project management: create working groups to solve various types of tasks, coordinate the budget and resources, monitor the timing and quality of work.

The IT support system is configured on the portal: users submit requests to the Service Desk, which are routed to IT specialists according to the category of the request. Notifications about the status of the application are sent to the employee by e-mail. The IT manager can evaluate the speed and quality of requests at any time with a dedicated report.

Unified Communications Center

The portal coordinates the work of all structural divisions of the RFU, members of the Union of regional football federations and associations, men's and women's national teams of different ages in football, beach and futsal. All communications go through the portal: employees find the necessary information here, communicate in working chats both in writing and through audio and video messages.

Integration

Thanks to NTLM authorization, RFU employees do not need to enter an additional login password to access the portal. Integration with Active Directory allows you to keep the list of users up to date, and integration with 1C: ZUP - to receive billing sheets through the portal, view the rest of the vacation and ask for help.

Also, the project implemented: a calendar of events for the convenient display of all RFU events, an organizational structure for quickly finding the necessary contacts, exchange files using the Bitriks24.Disk service mobile application and for access to the portal with. smartphones

Results

As a result, in just 4 weeks a convenient functional portal was created on the Bitriks24 platform. Employees actively use its capabilities from stationary PCs and mobile devices. The portal performs both the information function and simplifies the solution of everyday tasks. The RFU plans to further develop the capabilities of the portal and continue cooperation with EM Si Art.

At the time of implementation, the RFU did not have a centralized system for joint work of the company. We understood that without simple tools such as telephone directory, task management, shared disk, and group management, it was impossible to support the intensive growth of the organization. We decided to introduce a product already ready and tested in a large number of organizations - Bitriks24: Corporate Portal.
