The Diamond Age Investment Advisors company is founded in 2004. A field of activity – investment and consulting services in the field of the portfolio investments on Russian and the growing markets of the CIS countries.

The need for creation of a system of the management reporting and planning for Diamond Age arose in connection with growth of number of the processed information by specialists of the company, need of obtaining information for the uniform standard and also for formation of the forecast of financial and economic activity of the company.

For implementation of the tasks set in the project were selected the Palo-Server system – for collecting of the reporting, planning and convenient data analysis and also the MS SQL Server as secure storage location of data.

The software package Palo-Server of Jedox company is open-cast mining (Open Source) and does not require runtime royalty fees. It is convenient MOLAP tool for storage and data analysis, budgeting and creation of the reporting, the multidimensional business analysis. "Advantage of this solution over other schedule systems is its simplicity and a possibility of support by the client who does not have in staff of the IT specialist. The usual Excel interface allows users to begin to work in the shortest possible time in a system. Palo-Server is very flexible and easily scalable solution that is especially important for the small, but dynamically developing companies. It also served as a decisive factor when choosing a system by the customer", - Victor Sizov, the project coordinator, the head of development of the CPM systems of CORUS Consulting company noted.

During implementation specialists of Corus Consulting developed the chart of accounts and analytical cuts of conducting management accounting. A set of the report forms created in the project allowed managers of customer company to monitor quickly cash flow, to analyze planned and actual expense information and revenues of the company, to make timely management decisions. Besides, one of important project deliverables was the possibility of cost reduction, connected with preparation of the audited reporting.

Upon termination of the project the staff of financial department could configure independently new report forms and enter changes into the system of management accounting.
