2021: Launch of the first apartment search service by photo

In early September 2021, it became known about the launch of the first service in Russia to search for apartments by photo. This product was developed by Knight Frank.

According to the developers, thanks to the new service, the search for suitable apartments can be carried out in 60 seconds. To do this, you need to decide on the location, interior style and search purpose (for purchase or rent; for urban and suburban real estate; only the option of buying an apartment is available for a foreign one).

The selection appears as a list on the page in the browser. They can be additionally filtered by a number of parameters (price, area, readiness stage of the house and others) and leave a request for advice on the apartment you like.

In Russia, the first service for searching for apartments by photo appeared

Director of the digital department of Knight Frank Alexander Onikienko, commenting on the implementation of this project, noted that the company is actively developing in the field of digital technologies and is introducing technological solutions that help both customers and employees of the company.

Our new apartment selection service is the first case of introducing neural networks to improve customer experience in the Russian real estate market. Imagine: you sheet the tape of social networks or saw in the magazine an interior that is fully suitable for you, and you would dream of living in such an apartment. Our tool will allow you to find the most similar offers in the elite real estate market in Moscow, Moscow Region and abroad, "he said.

In his opinion, this is the best solution when choosing an apartment with decoration, offering various options for design solutions.

The company explained that a new online service for searching for apartments based on photos became available in August 2021. By September 6, 2021, a beta version of the product is available.^[1]
