2021: Launch of the updated ticketing system

Now visitors to the Ostankino Tower can buy tickets on the site or at the self-service terminal, which supports several foreign languages. The project to create an updated ticket access system was implemented together with the IT company Krok, which announced this on September 8, 2021.

Those who plan to visit the Ostankino Tower in advance can purchase entrance tickets on the site where the online payment platform has appeared. With it, visitors can see in real time how many tickets are available for purchase and choose the most suitable session.

Tickets can also be purchased at the ticket offices located in front of the entrance to the tower. The cashiers have thermal printers: they work faster than usual, do not require cartridges and are as easy to maintain as possible. Finally, the terminal for self-service allows you to buy tickets. It supports several languages, and in the future this will allow tourists from different countries to easily choose the format of visiting one of the iconic sights of Moscow.

If guests canceled the visit for some reason, they will be able to quickly issue a ticket return through the website or cash desk.

The Ostankino Tower is one of the main attractions of Moscow and at the same time is an object that requires special attention to the safety and convenience of our guests. The created ticket and pass system is another step in this direction. The company Krok said that as part of the project, ticket readers were modernized, three additional turnstiles and equipment for registering visitors were installed. These solutions allow specialists of the Ostankino Tower to monitor the occupancy of sightseeing sites and compliance with security measures.

In the future, it will be possible to use tickets with remote reading in the tower. The operator will control the number of guests at different sites of the tower online and monitor the number of tickets sold, "said Artem Romanov, an expert on security systems of the IT company KROK.
