2021: Automation of business processes of quality control and audit in production

The Borlas Group and Rusagro Group of Companies on September 14, 2021 announced the completion of a project launched in December 2020 to automate business processes for quality control and audit in the slaughter and meat processing industry at Tambov Bacon LLC.

Borlas Repair and Maintenance System (BRAMS) - Borlas Group's own development, a platform for performing mobile audits, a tool for monitoring production control processes based on objective assessments.

The solution has flexibility and adaptability and can be located both in the cloud infrastructure (subscription service) and on the Customer's servers.

The quality control service of the meat business of the Rusagro Group of Companies at the time of the launch of the project needed an effective means of managing regularly performed audits of quality control and analysis of the volume received. data It was necessary to build a full-fledged information system, with the help of which it would be possible not only to automate the audit process, but also to involve all heads of the relevant divisions where shortcomings were found. At the same time, it was software not possible to find a finished one that meets the specific requirements of production on the market. Based on the results of the demonstration, the Customer chose the BRAMS platform, since in most of its functions it met the stated requirements and could be adapted to the tasks set in a reasonable time.

The main goal of the Rusagro Industrial Safety, Labor and Environmental Protection Service was to avoid paper circulation, record all detected inconsistencies in electronic form, as well as automated control over their correction. Since the BRAMS capabilities made it possible to fulfill these tasks, it was decided to combine them into one comprehensive project, the implementation of which began six months ago.

First of all, the software was refined in accordance with the Customer's business requirements. Particular attention was paid to the integration of BRAMS with external information systems, which made it possible, for example, in real time to block products that do not meet high quality standards.

In addition, the possibility of registering all detected inconsistencies both using mobile devices and at a stationary workplace was added. Each discrepancy is supported by photo and video materials.

According to the results of the project, the identification of inconsistencies in finished products is carried out online, the risks of shipping low-quality products are minimized, which allows the company to work in accordance with modern requirements for ensuring the quality and safety of food products.

It should also be noted that industrial discipline has increased, labor safety standards are strictly observed.
