2021: Start of ultra-fast charging station

On September 15, 2021, Sitronics Group announced the signing of an agreement of intent with the Technological Development Agency of the Ulyanovsk Region on the implementation of comprehensive projects in the field of digital transformation of sectors of the economy, the implementation of strategic initiatives, as well as in the organization of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles.

As part of the agreement, the Sitronics Group launched the first ultra-fast charging station in Ulyanovsk. The opening took place in the parking lot of the Aquamall shopping center.

We are pleased to begin interaction with the Ulyanovsk region. This is one of those regions that have actively engaged in the development of the issue of transition to ecotransport and are considering all the opportunities available for this. We look forward to further development of the project as a charging network operator in the region. Our company supplies a comprehensive solution for the charging infrastructure for direct and alternating current at capacities up to 350 kW, including for electric buses, "commented Andrei Gurlenov, vice president of Sitronics Group.

In Ulyanovsk, the company launched a 50 kW DC fast charging station and an application for scheduling charging times, paying and using other functions. Owners will be able to comfortably charge electric cars during a visit to the shopping center.

Every year, the use of environmentally friendly transport is becoming more and more urgent. And for us, as curators of this area, it is important to develop infrastructure for electric vehicles. In the Ulyanovsk region, a zero transport tax has already been introduced for owners of electric vehicles. However, we do not stop there. We will expand the network of charging stations, we will attract investors to develop the network, so that they become more and more. It is important that this activity be carried out with leading Russian companies whose technological solutions will allow us to effectively deploy an electric charging network in our region, "said Vadim Pavlov, Director General of the Technological Development Agency of the Ulyanovsk Region.

The development of conditions for increasing the number of electric vehicles and charging infrastructure is important for the quality and comfort of the population in the long term. This is one of the factors for improving the environmental situation in cities and decabronizing the atmosphere as a whole.
