We were looking for this equipment specifically for working with materials that cannot be normally sealed on another manufacturer's digital machine, "explained Alexey Gorokhov, co-owner of MB Print. - We often use such papers as, for example, ColorPlan or PureCotton, but the paint of our past CPM did not hold well on them, so we had to look for another solution.

During the search, company executives studied digital dry toner machines of all major manufacturers. Alexey Gorokhov notes that on quality and print speed they are approximately at one level, but surpasses analogs in characteristics of AccurioPress C12000, important for printing house.

To admit, we initially did not consider the offer from Konica Minolta at all. They had nothing against it - it just somehow happened, "continued Alexey Gorokhov. - But at some point the company actively got involved in the process and after numerous tests we found in this car interesting features for us. In addition to the fact that toner is perfectly kept on the necessary materials, the machine competently implements the function of controlling the haze of the impression, which is important for some customers of the MB Print printing house - there not only changes the temperature of the stove, but also changes the clamp between the shafts and the speed of passage of the material - all parameters are protected in 'presets'. The second important quality is that sheets up to 900 mm long, allowing us to produce album brochures in a format up to A3, covers and booklets A4 with three falcons, get into the machine from trays with pneumatic feed, and not friction - this is more stable and more reliable. These nuances eventually bowed the scales in favor of the AccurioPress C12000 from Konica Minolta.

In a portfolio of Konica Minolta the digital AccurioPress C12000 printing machine and its faster version of AccurioPress C14000 take the place between the sheet jet KM-1 car of B2 format and tonerny CPM AccurioPress C7100. Both machines work with different materials with a density of 52 to 450 g/m2. In single-sided printing mode, you can print on sheets up to 1300 mm long, and in automatic duplex - up to 900 mm. The maximum printing speed is 120 and 140 A4/min, respectively. The maximum load for these models is 2.5 million pages A4/month.

It is possible that with the help of the installed C12000 AccurioPress, we will be able to solve another problem - to oust the A3 format sheet offset machine we have from the process, "said Alexey Gorokhov. - CPM provides not only comparable print quality, but also a very pleasant cost, which allows you to easily compete on print runs up to 800 prints. Well, the speed of her work, of course, is much higher than offset.
