2021: Creating a basketball arena
In mid-September 2021, the basketball club Los Angeles Clippers announced the start of a 23-year $500 million strategic partnership with a financial developer. As ON Intuit part of the cooperation in the 24/25 season, it is planned to open an arena in Inglewood (state), California it will be called Intuit Dome.
Intuit will own ownership of the Intuit Dome arena, which is estimated at $1.2 billion. Its capacity is 18 thousand spectators. Steve Ballmer explained that the appearance of the arena symbolizes a basketball ball breaking through the net. Intuit Dome will have four changing booths right behind the court line, as well as 10 bungalows backstage.
According to The Clippers, Intuit Dome will bring Inglewood about $260 million annually, which will create more than 7,000 full-time and part-time jobs. The Clippers also undertakes to provide a $100 million package of social benefits, which will include investments in extracurricular education programs, services for the elderly, libraries and housing.
