2021: Delivery of Aerodisk Vostok Storage System

On September 20, 2021, Aerodisk announced that it had acted as a supplier of storage systems as part of a project to update IT systems of the Kurgan Region Financial Administration. During the operation of the existing solution, the customer needed to expand the disk space for critical applications.

Virtual machines that host mission-critical data required higher performance storage - faster SSDs that support 2 or more Active/Active controllers with easy management and scalability while further expanding disk space. At the same time, the Customer needed to comply with the requirements of Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1746.

The supplier and integrator of the solution was Elinkor, which proposed the Aerodisk Vostok storage system, which was entered in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, as the most suitable option, taking into account the needs of the customer. The installation and configuration of the solution was carried out by the design team of Elinkor specialists and Aerodisk engineers.

After signing the contract, the delivery period was 4 weeks. The tender documentation indicated a period of 8 weeks. It took 2 days to put the solution into service, taking into account system testing and storage integration into the customer's IT system.

As a result of the project, the customer received a reliable domestic storage system, which has all the necessary characteristics. The delivered Aerodisk East storage system has the potential to increase capacity and performance by adding additional drives and controllers.
