District Sanatorium and Forest School

On January 1, 1952, by the decision of the Yamalo-Nenets Okrispolkom, a five-set boarding school with 70 places was opened for children with trachoma and scab. By the decision of the Yamalo-Nenets Executive Committee No. 194 of 03.09.1953, a sanatorium-forest school for 100 places for children with tuberculosis was opened in Salekhard with full state support for students. The organization of the educational process in the Institution is based on the curriculum (with the breakdown of the content of the educational program by training courses, by disciplines and by years of study), developed and approved by the Institution independently, based on the federal basic curriculum and model curricula of courses, disciplines, and regulated by the schedule of educational classes.
