2021: Launch of the Data Based Management Service

The ALP Group Corporate Information Systems Department announced the launch of the Data Based Management package service on September 24, 2021. This service is intended for enterprises that create the foundation for subsequent complex automation, implement Data-driven management systems and require the production, processing and analysis of corporate data for strategic and operational decisions.

The relevance of this service is determined by the fact that in order to transition to data-driven systems, it is necessary to ensure the high quality of data and the degree of its suitability for use in such IEs. The fact is that outdated and incomplete information cannot serve as the basis of a correctly constructed digital model, which, in the end, affects the entire process of management decision-making. On the other hand, working with data from scratch (reading, analytics, summarizing, reasoning, conclusions) requires the use of appropriate IT tools that are correctly integrated into the enterprise's corporate IP. Without this, you simply cannot create a single information field that covers all business processes in your organization. It is this task that the ALP DKIS service, "Data Based Management," is designed to solve.

As of September 2021, this proposal consists of five blocks.

The first involves "mining," converting data and creating appropriate unified formats and interfaces.

The second block - harmonization - provides for the formation of a single managed and updated catalog as a functional element of the information system, in which data, already in the correct formats, are structured and regularly updated in accordance with given criteria.

The business glossary block is used to name and define all data sets, as well as describe their sources and the level of trust in them.

Then ALP DKIS proposes the implementation of a specialized analytical module that allows you to process the received information in real time and create multi-level reports with specific recommendations. It is important to note that this module is end-to-end for all units included in this service and is capable of processing information obtained from almost any internal as well as from external sources.

Finally, the Security and Data Protection Module ensures that ALP customers work seamlessly and reliably with virtually any information, including trade or proprietary secrecy.

It is important to note that the integrated data management thus organized always relies on a high level of quality control technology - both the information itself and its processing.

In this regard, the company recalled that in 2020, ALP DKIS introduced internal (MDM) and external (ECM) data management systems to the Russian market. The first of them - MDM - summarizes and analyzes information for the tasks of a particular user, as well as takes into account historical data and makes it possible to build accurate forecasts.

In turn, the ECM module provides stable catalogued data storage, controls the rules for accessing information, the procedure for adding and deleting it, as well as document version control.
