The Business Studio system is development of the Russian company "Modern Technologies of Management". A system is presented at the market since 2004.

Business Studio helps to formalize the business strategy of firm, to select and record a tree of the purposes of the company in the strategic map, to develop indicators of achievement of these purposes. In Business Studio it is possible to construct complex hierarchical model of activity of the company and also to describe a number of separate processes.

Business design in a system is expected creation of an organization structure of the company, the staff list. In a system it is possible to appoint owners and contractors of business processes and to create the org chart. The software solution creates a complete system in which all processes and tasks are strictly regulated and distributed on responsibles.

Thus, this tool focused on HR specialists allows not only to prepare job descriptions, but also to control their execution. On the basis of information on employment of the employee in business processes the program recommends the optimal number of specialists.

In projectible models it is possible to build and check a quality control system (ISO 9000) and also to perform functional value analysis.

Business Studio 4.0

Increase in productivity and convenience of work of users became one of the main directions of improvement in Business Studio 4.0. First, the system interface was updated and began to meet modern standards. Secondly, the system usability is significantly improved: the quantity of steps (clicks) at design of business models, reports was considerably reduced and in other daily transactions. The most often used functions of a system can be made easily accessible of the menu now, hints on the arising questions manage to be received instantly thanks to emergence of an online help.

In this version it was not also without expansion of functionality: in a system support to the notation of modeling of BPMN 2.0 gaining popularity is implemented and the new application for creation of the knowledge base of the company — Business Studio Portal is added.

Business Studio Portal is the web portal allowing employees to address from any place in the world the knowledge base of the company containing all necessary for work regulating documentation. The portal can be browsed using any browsers and devices, there is mobile version. Also the portal supports differentiation of access rights, full-text search and the system of hyperlinks between documents.

In addition to operational and convenient distribution of the regulating documentation, Business Studio Portal gives additional opportunities: collecting and control of measure values, control of estimates of achievement of goals; collecting and analysis of proposals of employees on improvement of business processes.

Business Studio Portal allows all interested persons to take part in discussion of business processes of the company. Analysis results of proposals of employees can be used for improvement of business architecture of the company.

Thus, thanks to emergence of the portal, Business Studio 4.0 provides essentially new opportunities of formation and dissemination of knowledge about a company performance among employees. It helps to implement successfully a main objective of application of a system of business simulation — to create effectively working business.

In total more than 1500 changes and improvements are made to Business Studio 4.0. From the moment of a system exit this version one of the most considerable changes on volume. Thanks to the done work it was succeeded to achieve an optimal combination of simplicity and convenience of using to broad functionality of a system.

Business Studio 3.6

In total more than 200 changes and improvements directed to increase in productivity of work of users are made to the new version. Functionality of a system is significantly expanded and solves a problem of creation of an end-to-end system of management which includes, along with instruments of design and analytics, automation of key business processes of the company. Within technology partnership with Directum company for the first time the unique integrated solution of Business Studio + Directum allowing to increase cardinally quality of enterprise management is presented at the domestic market.

Possibilities of Business Studio 3.6 are connected with expansion of interaction with other enterprise information systems - ERP CRM and, first of all, – BPM- systems (Business Performance Management). As well as Business Studio, BPM systems are intended for work with business processes: if in Business Studio business processes are modelled and regulated, then in sight of a BPM system there is an administration of execution of business processes. Such complementarity gives the chance to construct the "seamless" IT system allowing to automate a full stroke of creation and development of a management system of the company on the basis of the process approach.

Technically new functionality of Business Studio 3.6 is implemented thanks to support of the XPDL format which is the industry standard of transfer of schemes of processes. Business Studio 3.5

Business Studio 3.5 is the software allowing to model and document a management system of the company including business processes, organizational structure, the system of the purposes and indicators.

In version 3.5 Business Studio development was gained by such basic functions as the mechanism of creation of an organization structure, formation of the regulating documentation in the HTML format, support of styles appeared. Also significant improvements are made in the module "Simulation Modeling and Functional Stoymostnoy Analysis".
