[1]The Schneider Electric production company implemented the large-scale project on transfer to a personnel management system "BOSS-personnel officer" of all the divisions in Russia and in Ukraine. Implementation of a HRM system at the Potentsial plant became the next stage. Within centralization HRM "Schneider Electric" gradually refused the old personnel systems: "A&T: Salary", "SM – Personnel management" and others.

The Schneider Electric company in Russia and Ukraine makes a step-by-step transfer of all divisions on a single system of personnel management "BOSS-personnel officer". The most part of the large-scale HRM project was implemented in 2009, and it started in December, 2008.

Prior to HRM upgrade all divisions of Schneider Electric, and it is branches in 19 cities, three plants and two logistic centers, used separate software for accounting of personnel and payroll.

For example, in 2001 the InterTrust company delivered to the Russian department of the French Schneider Electric[2]the CM-Personnel management system. It is known also that at this moment for payroll of Schneider Electric A&T used a system on payroll accounting ": Salary" AiT Soft company which was integrated further with Maconomy ERP system implemented in the 2000th year.

As specified TAdviser in BCS company which was engaged in implementation "BOSS-personnel officer" in Schneider Electric, on it the complete list of the HRM systems of the company which existed at the time of start of the project, far was not exhausted.

Pushed to upgrade and centralization of accounting by personnel of Schneider Electric as the expanding number of staff (business of the company in Russia and Ukraine actively extended), and carrying out global reorganization of company management in within the corporate The One program.

By words Alexey Chichinadze, the director of the strategic systems of motivation of the CIS and Eastern Europe of Schneider Electric Ltd, this program assumed centralized operation by the company on the basis of uniform corporate policy and uniform corporate standards. Within the program merge of all structural divisions of Schneider Electric was manufactured in Russia "under one roof".


Naturally, in such context also global reorganization of IT infrastructure was required. And the old HRM systems which were used in Schneider Electric for a role of the new corporate standard did not approach. Meanwhile, the head office Schneider Electric in France uses the PeopleSoft HRM system, but it did not suit the Russian block as "does not speak" Russian, is not adapted to the Russian realities and does not work in the Russian legal space", Alexey Chichinadze said. BCS specified that other western solutions at a stage of the choice refused equally for the same reasons, and 1C - because of functional mismatch. As a result the single platform selected "BOSS-personnel officer" - for scalability and good technical support.

As a result on "BOSS-personnel officer" all Russian business and the Ukrainian office "Schneider Electric" was transferred: it happened in August, 2009. And the main complexity of the project was the fact that it went practically in parallel with implementation of new ERP based on SAP, and both projects were strongly tied on terms with each other. Besides, as a result "BOSS-personnel officer" was also integrated with PeopleSoft of the French head office. Afterwards Schneider transferred technical support of a new HRM system to complete outsourcing of BCS.

As a result in Schneider Eletrik with the new HRM platform were satisfied. "The BOSS-PERSONNEL OFFICER system functions steadily, we forgot about any "failures", we stopped the hysterics connected by payroll, there are no delays on employee benefits connected with problems in work of an information system", - Elena Hillman told.

Transfer on "BOSS-personnel officer" of the Potentsial plant (Kozmodemyansk, Mari El) which Schneider Electric purchased in 2008 became the next stage of the HRM project and already significantly upgraded. Now Potentsial is the platform, largest in Russia, on production of electroinstallation products. Total number of staff of the enterprise – about 2 thousand human.

The project on implementation of new HRM at the enterprise started in August, 2010, in its framework is going to implement modules of registration of personnel, payroll, accounting for RPF, time keeping and the staff list. Besides, "BOSS-personnel officer" will be integrated with a financial system of the Potentsial plant - "1C: Institute of Model Solutions". Commercial operation of a system will begin in February, 2011.


In 2014 the management of Schneider Electric gave a new impulse for strategy implementation of centralized operation by personnel processes and payroll. Specialists of BSC company execute implementation of the BOSS-PERSONNEL OFFICER HRM system for three legal entities of Samara Electric board, the Total number of staff of the organizations involved in implementation of this project is about 9 thousand people.

Start of the BOSS-PERSONNEL OFFICER HRM system in commercial operation in Samara is planned for January, 2015. The second stage of system implementation is planned for April, 2015. In its framework the personnel officer will be implemented by BOSS on company platforms in St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg and Surgut
