Yandex launched the delivery of orders by S7 aircraft

At the end of September 2021, Yandex launched the delivery of orders by S7 aircraft. To do this, an agreement was concluded between Yandex.Delivery and S7 Logistics.

Customers of the Yandex.Market marketplace will be able to receive ordered goods from various million-plus cities either within 24 hours or the next day. Delivery the next day will be provided by direct S7 Airlines flights and local couriers connected to the Yandex.Delivery service. At the start-up stage, more than 200,000 marketplace items are available for the order.

Previously, long-distance delivery in Russia took from three to seven days. At the same time, the marketplace previously delivered orders exclusively within cities.

First, the project was launched in Novosibirsk, where buyers can order goods from Moscow. Then the option will be available in 12 more cities of Russia, whose names are not disclosed. In the future, partners will provide the service to other companies, and not only to Yandex.Market sellers.

It is noted that the new shipping method will not affect the cost of goods for buyers and sellers. The delivery price, depending on the region, will be from 49 to 99 rubles, additional costs will be borne by partners. Goods will be transported in the luggage compartment of S7 passenger aircraft.
