2021: Digitalization of repair management
In March 2021, Desnol Soft, a developer of an ecosystem of solutions for effective asset management 1C: TOIR 2 KORP, announced the implementation of a project for digitalization of repair management in the mining company of Kazakhstan Kostanay Minerals. During the project, the processes of equipment and standards accounting, operation indicators, maintenance and repair planning, MTO repair management, personnel management, work and work management are automated. System 1C: TOIR 2 KORP is integrated with the master system for enterprise resources management "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management for Kazakhstan." There is an automated calculation of 12 KPIs for M&R, which help to evaluate the efficiency of processes.
According to the company, the repair facilities were specialized equipment, electric substations, step-down transformers. 40 workplaces are automated.
M&R processes included in the perimeter of the implementation project:
- accounting of equipment and standards;
- accounting of operation indicators;
- maintenance and repair planning;
- Repair MTO Management;
- Human resources management;
- management of orders and works.
The development of our company has reached a level where the use of Excel alone did not allow you to correctly make management decisions on asset management, analyze the operation of equipment and technical services. Since our master enterprise management system runs on the 1C: Enterprise platform, we decided to choose an industry solution on the same platform. We studied the offers on the market and invited Desnol Soft, which is the developer of the 1C: TOIR solution line, to conduct a survey of the M&R processes at our enterprise. A specialist came to us, conducted a number of interviews, recorded the results. The project lasted about 8 months and was carried out by Desnol Soft specialists mainly remotely. The duration of each phase of the project ranged from 3 to 4 months. At the same time, Desnol Soft specialists, using their experience and applying the author's project management methodology, were able to organize the work so that certain tasks for the stages were carried out in parallel.
