Enabling integration of Autopilot SageMaker with Amazon SageMake

On December 1, 2021, the company Qlik announced the expansion of its work with (Amazon Web Services AWS). The company released an updated extended analytics connector for Amazon SageMaker integration and with Amazon SageMaker Autopilot. These solutions will expand the range of analytical capabilities available in Qlik Cloud, as well as provide seamless integration with advanced capabilities from machine learning Amazon through the Qlik Active Intelligence platform.

Additional machine learning capabilities make analytics more predictable and understandable. This is an important part of our vision of Active Intelligence, which helps companies make decisions based on the most up-to-date data at any time. Now Amazon users can SageMaker work with analytics on our SaaS platform, which opens up even more opportunities, "said James Fisher, Qlik Product Director.

Integration with SageMaker Autopilot, available through Qlik Application Automation, will also allow less experienced users to create their own prediction models. This will enable more employees to use analytics in their work.

The new partnerships further enhance the existing advanced analytics capabilities of Qlik with Insight Advisor. It automatically generates advanced analytics, offers options, automates data creation and preparation, and supports intuitive interaction.

Run no-code analytics automation solution

On September 30, 2021, Qlik announced the launch of Qlik Application Automation, a no-code solution for managing actions based on context-sensitive analytical information by optimizing workflows between SaaS and Qlik Cloud applications. With Qlik Application Automation, automated workflows can trigger alerts or follow-on processes, significantly reducing data processing time. A solution based on a previously acquired Blendr.io helps you get closer to the concept of Active Intelligence, when technologies and processes start direct actions based on data in real time.

"SaaS applications and associated data growth have increased the burden on manual integration. This prevents analysts and IT teams from responding to the changing situation in real time, and therefore undermines all the work of building Active Intelligence. With Qlik Application Automation and simple data migration between Qlik Cloud and other SaaS applications, work commands can easily create scalable connections and data streams that enable fast, data-driven analytics. "

noted James Fisher, Qlik Product Director.

As a Statista study published in May 2021 shows, SaaS applications accounted for 70% of all software in 2020. On average, 80 SaaS applications per company, up from eight in 2015. The growth of SaaS, along with the desire to manage data, has dramatically increased the workload of IT departments and analysts. Integrating hundreds of potential SaaS applications into a consistent analytic process requires a lot of time and work resources, severely limiting the ability to make real-time data-based decisions.

Qlik Application Automation helps solve this problem. Without the need to write code, drag-and-drop data management and built-in integration with Qlik Cloud create a seamless connection between the analytical platform and third-party SaaS applications for business process management. With automated analytics, applications, and workflows, the IT team and analytics can help your company make significantly more data-driven decisions. Another important point of the solution is the Qlik Application Automation templates. With them, teams can ensure consistency and improve performance, especially for tasks such as DevOps analytics, publishing applications, and transferring analytic data from Qlik to collaborative tools such as Slack or MS Teams.

Qlik Application Automation reduces the time it takes to program recurring back-office tasks and gives teams more time to prepare real-time analytics with solutions such as:

  • Smart connection - fast connection to SaaS applications: Salesforce, Slack, MS Teams, etc. They are presented as smart blocks, which means that there is no need to dive into the technical features of the low-level application API.
  • The user no-code interface is simple and understandable to business users. At the same time, it offers advanced features for advanced specialists: changing conditions, variables, cycles, data mapping, error handlers and templates to speed up thread development.
  • Built-in integration with Qlik Cloud - Create threads that use Qlik's own APIs to automate DevOps analytics processes.
  • Dynamic automation triggers - Use automation flows from different mechanisms according to their business objectives. Enable on-demand automation, use Web interceptors to activate threads from events, or program execution at a specific time.
  • Centralized Management and Reliability - Manage and track automation with Qlik Cloud to ensure flow execution and compliance with service-level agreements across the company.
